Swollen toe

I noticed one of my ducks had a swollen toe. It’s just the fourth one, around the base of it. It’s soft/squishy to the touch, and her toe is still moveable. What could be the issue?

Is she limping? Is the lump hot to the touch? Does it extend down to the footpad? It's difficult to tell in the image.

Sorry it’s a bad image, I can’t get the camera to pick it up. She is limping, it’s slightly hot, and it’s just around the base of the toe.

It’s resolving itself. It wasn’t bad, then she couldn’t use her foot at all, and now she can use it again with a small limp. And it’s less swollen too.

I'm glad to hear that! Perhaps it was a sprain of some sort.
