I have a two year old chicken. After free ranging one day, we discovered she was horrible swollen under one eye. There does not seem to be any damage to her eye. There is no sign of wheezing, no eye bubbles, no nasal mucus, no smell...etc (I've been doing a lot of online research). I've even tried putting pressure on it to see if it would "pop" or if there was any signs of puss, and there is nothing. Its been like this for 3 weeks now. I've been putting Vetericyn plus in her eye twice a day for the last 2 weeks and just finished a 7 day round of Tylan 50 orally (1/2 cc twice daily). We have kept her separate from the rest of the flock so that she is not picked on. She is my oldest hen and the alpha. She is eating and drinking fine. But NO improvement to her eye. Does anyone have suggestions or know what this is?
