Swollen wattles

It's been like this since yesterday. In the morning she was fine, even laid an egg and then suddenly her wattles started swelling. The inner parts at first and then in a few hours the entire wattles. And not only that but also the area in between her wattles is swollen as hell. Yesterday when the swelling started she was lethargic but got more active later.

Today she is acting very energic, ate and drank too. But the swelling didn't go away or get better. Poops look normal.

It could be an injury that caused swelling, as happened with one of my roosters. It could be a sinus infection.

Look for any ticks or sting marks that could have caused it. Try some benadryl (1/2 a children's dose) only one time to see if it makes a differnece. Is there any discoloration? Some illnesses besides ticks and frostbite that can cause swelling of the wattles are coryza and fowl cholera. Can you post a picture?
