It's been a stupid warm winter here. Snow only just started sticking down halfway through February and it's supposed to rain again this week. I don't think it even got down to -20C yet this year doesn't look like it will either. Usually there's at least one full week of -30C

Personality: Distrust defines him.
So much abandonment and abuse in his early childhood has left him weary of other people, especially adult men over 30. When his father finally left him when he was six, so much damage had already been done. Being adopted by a home that treated him as lesser than the already present children didn't help. By now he's used to blows and hateful tones, and the few good people he's known have either been ripped away from after a short amount of time, or died. Due to this he's learned to set low standards for people, but they always find a way to dig under them and give him an even worse taste of relationships, and he has to fight his fight or flight instincts every time he talks to someone.
He's found the world to be icy cold, so he makes himself go along with that tone.
He's very pessimistic, easy to anger and holds on to hatred, desperate to at least feel something. Very rash and quick to action, he can make rather stupid choices regardless of his high intelligence. When he takes his time and thinks things through, though, survival is first and foremost in his mind; causing him to seem selfish. That doesn't mean he won't help someone else in need because of his still existent conscience-- It's just not his natural response.
He tends to be blunt and doesn't like people that beat around the bush, and lying to him is an easy way to get on his extensive "people-Aros-hates-list".
He tries his best and is rather a perfectionist when it comes to himself, having a loud inner critic left over from his father, adoptive brothers, and adoptive mother.
He is very much known as a lone wolf, and doesn't care too much about being alone. Other people either make him uncomfortable or have hurt him, but he'll settle to be with them if they don't push him about things.
He has a lot of left over trauma that he's simply compartmentalized instead of dealing with, and he truly misses his mother, brother, first foster parents, and adoptive father, but he has very little hope of ever seeing any of them again, leaving him with painful memories to handle on his own, and a fear of truly getting close to others.
Aros can get into playful moods and begin teasing others, but if he notices them getting angry he'll recede back into himself. Sarcasm can be an escape for him, but he understands that some people just don't have the patience for it.
He also can get very protective of others he deems unable to defend themselves-- Like children and people with severe mental handicaps or physical illness. If he sees anyone acting aggressively to a child or person otherwise unable to fight back, pray for their souls, because they're about to be dropkicked by a 6'5 teenaged ball of pure rage.
Working with others is another struggle for him, and he disdains being commanded to do something, but if he knows it's need he can get over it and play along.
Regardless of his tendency towards towards anger-- which is another place of self-hatred-- He honestly wants to do better and be a better person, and bounces around with his moods, especially when it comes to his feelings about others. But once he sets his mind to doing better-- Which he usually has to reset himself about fifty times a day-- He can slip into being playful and helpful to others, but he usually needs someone else who's wholesome around him to get to that mental space. He's one of those people who feeds off other's emotions, if he's alone or around bitterness, which he usually is, he'll be bitter. But, if he can find an accepting group, he might be able to learn to enjoy others' presences.
He's also really stubborn. Like, comedically stubborn. If he decides to go one way, and that trail leads to a cliff, and you tell him to turn around?
He'll walk off that cliff.
Picture/Description: Tanned reddish skin on a very lean body-- You can tell he doesn't eat as many meals as he should, but he still retains some muscle and is considerably strong. He's also pretty tall, standing at 6'5 and never leaning down to appear any less so. His hair is unkempt, soft, and frizzy; deep raven black strands drooping long enough to touch his bushy eyebrows. Russet brown eyes tinged with pain have dark bags hanging underneath from his consistent lack of sleep, and it's easy to make out the blue veins beneath his thin skin. A jagged scar stretches over a crooked nose-- Obviously having been broken at some point. His hands are boney, and his fingernails are a bit too dirty, untrimmed, and ripping-- A tattoo of a semi-colon is on the top of his right wrist. He also has a sharp jaw-line and high cheekbones, and his lips are thin and very chapped.
His father was Cherokee, but the rest of his ancestry is unknown.
He likes to wear black, but he'll go for some dark blue or grey clothes if they're clean. To be honest, his only belongings are the clothes on his body. A black hoodie, black jeans, and black army boots. He hasn't had the opportunity to get new ones in quite awhile, so mud is splattered over his boots and jeans.
His dominant hand is his right hand, so that's the palm that his User ID is tattooed on.
Weaknesses, habits, or special abilities: Allusion casting/projection. These allusions of himself or of other objects or animals cannot be touched, or travel too far away from him, the farther away they are the more strained he is. He can see through their eyes and control them, but as stated, they can't go too far from him, neither can they fight for him-- But they make for great distractions. Casting them does drain him of energy, can cause nausea, headaches, and dizziness-- His symptoms worsen with how far away they get. He can't project more than 1 at a time.
Other: He can be pretty clumsy and be "accidentally" comedic. He loves hip-hop/rap, has had a drivers license for the last two years but does not own a car, and lived in northeast Oklahoma until he was 9, at which point he moved with his adoptive family to Tennessee. His birthday is November 14th, 2017. And he barely remembers a little blonde boy named Lachlan that was his brother, but they got separated via going to different foster homes. All he can do is pray his little brother has led a better life than himself.

Personality: Faye is probably one of the sweetest souls you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. Incredibly motherly and gentle, she rarely raises her voice. She seems far older then she actually is, soft spoken, logical, and kind. A natural leader, she has no problem taking charge of any situation, but will also let others take charge if needed.
Understanding and empathetic and will see the best in anybody. She will go so far for anyone, she will push down her emotions and her problems so far down just to take care of others.
Even if it kills her.
Skitterish and jumps easily. She rarely sits in one place for long, always moving. She has a rabbits alertness, always looking around and keeping track of things. Scatterbrained and rarely retains basic information. Not that she doesn't care— her brain just moves too quickly.

It can very quickly figure out puzzles that most people would not, brilliant at riddles and tricks.
Always regards the world with a strange sort of aloofness. Just barely acknowledging people, and has never truly had a friend. No one really knows who it is, they sort of just fade in and out of the picture.
Not easily intimated, and incredibly strong for its height. Hate being commanded, but not a leader either. Lonesome, better at doing things themself rather then with other.

Personality: Incredibly bold and stubborn. Like to the point of stupidity. She won't let anyone tell her do anything, no matter what. It's her way or the highway, through and through. A raging feminist. No one, especially not men, can tell her to quiet down or to sit more ladylike. Which has gotten her into several fights and a lot of trouble. She's not scared of much, either.
She's very sweet, and will give anyone the shirt off her back at any given time, but she's very hotheaded and rash. She doesn't know when to stop, and more often then not, she adds more fuel to the fire.
She's very insecure. She has grown up surrounded by those with fantastical powers, and there hasn't been a human in her family since the 1960's. She sets herself at incredibly high standards, and will work herself to exhaustion just to get a little bit of approval.
Picture/Description: 5'7, and athletic build. She's a runner, and almost constantly working out. Her muscle is pretty much the only thing she's got going for her. Short, frizzy ginger hair, and dark brown eyes. Pale skin and a scattering of freckles.

A shameless flirt, and good at it too. He has a natural charm, and easily gets on most peoples side. Unless he dislikes them, in which case he will pay no attention to them. Holds a wicked grudge, and doesn't like to apologize or forgive.
Lives by their motto. "I am under no obligation to make sense to you." They don't feel a need to explain anything to anyone, or care what they think of him.
He has a lot of unresolved trauma. He has no contact with any family, and has few friends. They won't tell anything to anyone, they're far too prideful for that. They don't think they need help, when they probably do. So, they stuff it down under a mask of witty comments and jokes.
Picture/Description: He towers over most others at 6'2, and his habit of wearing combat boots doesn't help him appear any shorter. Short, curly pink hair, and twisting antlers at the top of xyr head. Long, elvish ears with multiple piercings. Their right eye is green, and the left is blue. Various rings adorn their fingers.

But he has a very good judgement of character. Has a terrible habit of chewing their nails until there's nothing left, and cracks his bones way more then he should.
