(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I do not have chickens........yet.
I live on a small lot in town, and looking to have 3 to 4 birds!

I am an avid gardener, budding herbalist, and outdoor explorer.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

Kids are grown, grandkids live about 2 hours away. Love them all with my whole being.
Right now, I have a 5 month old male kitten.......I am NOT a cat person, at all.......but this guy; he's a great cat!
Wanting to add a pup this spring. I had 2 JRT's (both in heaven now) and I sure do miss having a Jack.
Server by day, bartender by event, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do to pay those bills! LOL

I appreciate all of your wisdom, experiences, advice, and knowledge that you share!
