Tablet rennet question

I've got a batch of cheese draining right now. The recipe called for liquid rennet, but I used tablet instead. It took a LONG time to curdle and I added an extra 1/4 tablet because I thought the first didn't work.

1. Is my batch ruined?

2. Do you have to dissolve the tablets in water before adding to milk? I did.

3. Are there any recipes using the tablets?

I plan to get some liquid soon, but I still have quite afew tablets left to use up.

BTW, they are real rennet, not Junket
