i’m doing the part where it says mix one gram with 20 ml water , Shakewell, dose one ML of mixture per 100 g of body weight.
my duck weighs 1400 g
so i gave her 14 ml of the mixture for her first dose
that’s quite a large amount of liquid to get down a small runner ducks throat. I had to use a tube feeder and the watery-ness made it extremely difficult to dispense by tube feed method.
i would like to not have to give her 14 ML but instead give her 1.4 ML and just make the mixture 10 times stronger by reducing the amount of water in the mixture recipe from 20 ML to two ML.
My question is, will it be too strong that way and hurt her throat or tummy?
