Tail Feathers

I've noticed that most of my chickens don't have any tail feathers. I know that they are picking them off each other, I just don't know why. Can anybody help? How can I stop them from doing it???

Chickens don't usually eat tail feathers. Are they molting? The best way to stop feather pecking is to provide your birds with lots of protein and to provide them with lots of space.

Thanks! They're not molting and they have plenty of room. I'm going to start feeding them meal worms to increase the protein in their diet.
