We might have the same culprit!!I have one like that - hatched from a egg (shipped to me by post) and no rumpless genes expected - so have classified it as an "accidental" rumpless. Explained to me as being essentially a deformity, likely formed during development in the egg. In my case I have decided shipping stress on the egg but suppose could also be other causes. I'm assured that as long as the bird is healthy in all other respects then there are no issues with keeping the bird! They do look kinda cool![]()
