Tail Question

    Why is the tail not cut off? Why pluck it, cut out the oil gland and save it? I don't know anybody that ever ate the tail. Do ya'll save the tail or cut it off? I just processed 8 roos, and I cut the tail off.

    I always cut it off when I process my Cornish X. Seems like the tail is just one more place to be a fat reserve - something the Cornish already has in abundance.
