U.K.
One of my runners is always wagging his/her tail, when he’s just walking or standing around, preening -and especially when he’s eating (not special treats, just normal pellets). I think he’s a boy, if that makes a difference and he’s a little smaller than his sisters. What does the constant tail wagging mean?does is just means he’s happy, content or is it something else?? Thanks :)

Mine (well, my wild Mallards) always wag their tails when I'm feeding them, or sometimes when they're about to go somewhere, like to ome of their ponds, I guess as a way to communicate.

My KC's definitely do it when they are happy.

Tom did a full change of bed for their houses today and gave them some really lovely fresh sweet hay.

They could hardly balance enough to step into the house with the amount of tail wagging going on - they were doing that duck purring noise as well, bless them.

I think its the duck equivalent of when we get in a bed thats just had all the linen changed and its all fresh and lovely :love
