'tain't My Job

My DHs job for many years kept him from home. I did and even now with him here still do many things traditionally considered DHs job. Plumbing repairs, trash, yard work, minor car maintenance/repairs, even snakes. There are some things like any electrical work though that I will not attempt.

Now that he's home more we've had discussions about, marriage vows or not, what falls into his job category. Dead animals and snakes are all his!

Better for the snakes anyways as I don't relocate.

Now if my DH wants to take over all the other traditional male stuff as well as contribute to household/childcare related things, we can renegotiate.

My DH has no problems helping with catching, relocating, killing or digging a hole for something dead...

I wish I could get him to pick up dog pooh or yak when it happens when I'm not home!

Nothing like coming home to 5 hour old pile of something he didn't have the stomach to pick up!

I do love him, but ... Jezz... I pick up his underware!

My DH loves to catch snakes too...BUT if a 2 cm spider crawls across the floor HE is screaming LIKE A GIRL!! LOL He can catch all the snakes for me *shudder*...and I "because" I LOVE him will squash all the spiders I can find! That is a good deal!!
