I assume it's done like rectally, only in the cloaca?? What is a normal temp? The dang internet is pretty slim on that kind of info. My queries take me to cooking info! Not my duck and chickens! LOL!

Oh, I don't know what's wrong with my Daisy. She hardly quacked yesterday and same today...she always answers me and always quacks when the dogs bark. She's very personable and vocal and now she doesn't want to eat hardly anything...not mealworms even. I tried to feel for a stuck egg, but I've never done it before so not sure exactly where inside or how far up. I'm familiar with animals as I've had them all my life and I was a vet assistant years ago but never dealt with ducks much. She was fine Friday, vocal and eating. Then Sat when I got home, hubby says she hasn't made much sound at all during the day. But she was still eating and drinking. Today, she is not eating much at all but is drinking a lot. I love this duck...:hit

That is a very bad sign.

Keep her someplace safe and quiet overnight, with food and water right in front of her. If you can tempt her to eat something that would be great.

If she isn't clearly better in the morning, maybe take her to the vet?

Yep, have done all that. I'm so angry that the problem is there are no local vets that see ducks. I also have goats and llamas and have the same problems with knowledgeable vets. So tired of it. There may be a vet that sees ducks about an hour south of us, so I will try tomorrow. Prayers are appreciated.
