    that pool with palm trees worked well for about two weeks and then they became adventerous...by then we had the coop put together for them and they moved...

    yes, I got fifty chicks from Murry McMurry...a colorful assortment...I have already shared a few with some friends as fifty is a lot of birds...they are all beautiful to me...and so much fun to watch...man! They do eat everything don't they? They get all excited when they see me coming with their watermelon...seems to be the biggest hit for mid afternoon snack time...the feeder is always full but they are like us in that they seem to like the extras...

    I got the rare breed layers from mcmurry and I love them too..
