Why?: dark terra cotta colored eggs, beautiful plumage, unusual comb and rarity

Why?: blue/green eggs, good layers

Top 3 Bantam Breeds:
1. Cochin
Why?: very friendly, quiet roosters, good broodies
2. Japanese
Why?: beautiful, good broodies
3. d'Uccles
Why?: friendly, good broodies, beautiful

Top 2 Duck Breeds:
1. Muscovy
Why?: quiet, friendly, love the tail wagging
2. Runners
Why?: good layers, comical, good foragers

Why?: brown eggers, and I love their color.

Why?: The pretty easter egg baskets, of course!

Why?: My grandfather swears he's never had better layers, and whatever makes my grandfather happy is a good thing. There's nothing better than a happy loved one.

Top 3 Standard Breeds:
1. Brahmas
Why?: I have no real reason for this preference. I'm just a sucker for them. It's probably a combo of personality, coloring, feathering, and huge size
2. Faverolles
Why?: Next to Brahmas, they have the sweetest temperaments of any I've owned. And you can't beat the cock for beauty
3. Barnyard mutt
Why?: It's what I started with, and you always love your firsts

Top 3 Bantam Breeds:
1. Silkies
Why?: Sweet, sweet, sweet! And you never need an incubator if you keep a couple of these around.

Why?: I'm not big on bantam breeds, but these last two are my guy's favorites

Why?: They're the only ones I've had experience with

Why?: quiet, and IMO nothing is cuter than those caruncles.

Why?: Geese are easier to feed, have great personalities, and I love large poultry
