I am so sorry I missed you. I wish you had posted yesterday. Just in case you get a chance to check in during a break. . . .

Keep time limits in the BACK of your mind.
If you see you are running out of time, it is better to answer a few questions correctly rather than rushing and missing most/all of the ones at the end.
The SS section seems difficult, but you will do just fine.

Taking the entire test in one day - Wow! It is usually split into two days around here.

I got my GED when my HS said I hadnt earned my diploma, even after being in class for 4 years and passing everything with a B average.
I hadnt completed the "work study" part to their satisfaction.

Thanks for the support, guys! I just got back about 30 minutes ago, and I gotta admit I am soooo worn out! I was really confident at the beginning, even through the math test. I taught the GED class for a bunch of my friends when I was 17, so I thought I knew what to expect. Math went well (I think) writing went really well (I know) and science went okay. The reading section kinda threw me off cause there were a lot of trick questions. Usually on multiple choice there's two good answers, but one just doesn't really work. On this one it could have been either one of the two, and I don't know if I got it right. I'm really good at reading/writing, but I've noticed that since my druggie days my mind doesn't work the same. Whoever said "harmless, all-natural" drugs don't leave a lasting effect was full of it! And it's been like 5 years.....I used to be able to read a paragraph and have everything stick after one quick skim read, but now I have to re-read several times in order to understand. I hate it so much, and I know it's my fault. *sigh**sniff* Social Studies was crap, there were some questions on there that required previous knowledge LOL. There was no reading to go with them, just a straight up questions on those. Luckily there were only a couple of those.

I don't think it helped that I'm an insomniac and couldn't sleep last night. I woke up at midnight and stayed up. I'm soooo tired....hubby is getting me a Reese's sonic blast with extra reese's, then we're gonna paint the living room LOL. Thanks again, and PRAY that I passed!!!!

I hope it went well for you, I tutor for the GED, SAT, ACT, ASVAB and a mulititude of others and they've gotten harder in recent years so don't feel bad if you didn't do as well as you'd like. I'm sure you'll pass though, and that is what is important!

ha ha so funny...NOT! LOL...I think the insomnia is taking care of itself....Now I'm just staying up so I can get the ice cream! I would have already had it, but hubby had to go to o'reilly's and apparently forgot there was one right up the road (and across the street from Sonic LOL) and drove all the way into the next city (15 miles) only to turn around and come back cause he couldn't find the debit card. So now I gotta wait....

AND it was 6:20....not 4

oh yeah, I forgot that the world doesn't revolve around me and my Central time LOL! They said I should get the results within 2-4 weeks, and I'm hoping it's closer to 1.5.........I really need those test results! I may be starting a piercing apprenticeship and I gotta have that darn GED by march 1st....
