Misaki sat on the side of her bed with her feet dangling down and her toes touching the floor. She was leaning down with her elbows propped up on her knees and her hands around her jawline, her eyes staring with an unblinking daydream at the floor as her mind was engulfed in thought. She'd been trying for some time to find some metaphorical meaning with what Inaho had crooned to her: "But I can be stopped, you just have to think outside of the box." Think, think, think... Ohhh, what could that possibly mean!
Then her eyes settled on the others. "Hey, you guys?" she asked aloud, bolting upright, "Do you remember what Inaho said last night before we were sent off to the ship again?"
"Something about trying to outwit her?" said Augustine, pondering for a moment as she sat upon the surface of her freshly made bed. "Though, I could be wrong."
"Wait a minute- ...no, I remember now, she said it when she appeared from the darkness! Remember, 'Think outside of the box'?" Misaki wore a vague smile behind her solemn eyes, "I think I might know what it means."
"Do you remember when Carys began to become frightened, and mentioned the abyss?" she asked, "Don't you find it strange that the abyss appeared right when she did?"
"I'm wondering if fear, and weakness are linked to the abyss. In this strange world, maybe the abyss appears because we fear it coming upon us? Maybe if we're brave and stand up to Inaho, she'll become weaker without feeling the power and domination she craves so much to have. I noticed that our rage seems to satisfy her, too, like how she was practically begging to have Alexandria throw her dagger at her out of anger."
She shrugged, "It may sound a little odd, but it's worth the try."
