Hi everyone, first time mother clucker here! If I talk to the incubator or gently tap I get a few responses from the chicks. We are day 20, they are due tomorrow, and I thought I heard some chirping last night too. I’ve got some incredibly cheap incubator where I can’t see inside at all so no idea if there is pipping but no one has hatched yet. Does it wear them out if I talk to them and they talk back? How long after chirping does it take for them to hatch usually? They are quite stuffed in there I hope they are alright. A mix of black copper marans, olive eggers, and blue laced red Wyandottes. Pic from pre-incubation.
