1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Hi, I'm originally from South Eastern washington (desert part) now on the southern Oregon coast. I've raised
chickens my whole life. But after getting married finally at the age of 43, we decided to completely start NEW and moved to Coos Bay, OR. And WOW.... what an adventure!?! 
Almost 4 years later....we are now at our 4th residence (STILL renting) but with a bit of elbow room... Not like back home, where we each had an acre! I got the ok to get pets, and kinda went overboard with the "but they're Sooo cute..." At the feed store and just before the covid shutdown.... stupidly ended up with 32 adorable fuzzy balls. Then covid hit, then my 47th B-day...I came home to find, my house beep beep beeping from the most adorable loving yellow pair of goslings and 2 sexlinks. ♥
But.... I'd never had geese, my silly hubby only knew they were going to be gray and got the chicks cause they were called SEXlinks. 
So....we now have, still in the last rental....2 Grouchy old cats (and my mom) and at the new place...28 chickens, my Sweet babies Waylon and Willy-nilly (Talouse) and sadly now 1 SEXlink Red... (Buffy accidentally drowned in the goosies bathtub, when I left to get my daughter at the bus stop 2 weeks ago
), Steve the STINKY goat, and Tuxy & Flash.. our (praying) new Rat 
Killing black n white kittens. We now need a Bigger place because they ate EVERY BIT OF GREEN, and so we are now battling (coastal) rain, our new SWAMP front and back yards, and a Bountiful amount of RATS!!! UGGG....WHAT WAS I THINKING?? 
AND YES....I'm constantly looking for a bigger place!!!
