A couple years ago I hatched 20 Bobwhite Quail chicks and I was really hoping for them to be tame. I spent every spare minute I had feeding them, playing with them and watching them. They were okay with me for a few days, but then they started getting skittish to the point where I couldn't even touch one without it freaking out. They are a little bit better now, but not by much. I am hatching another collection of quail in the next couple weeks, so hopefully these next ones will be more tame. Maybe some quail were just not meant to be tamed!
