Taming Silkie chicks??? Help!!

I say "hey girls" to mine. I have 3 with old 2 Polish and 1 Silkie, following for advice also have 3 skittish girls. Got them at like 4 days but raising chicks is something new for me too. So I'm trying to learn how to tame them also. What is best to use as treats, toys and such?

Two words: Meal Worms.

Make sure they have grit, and then introduce them to meal worms... Make a special call when you bring them treats. Eventually, they will associate that sound with treats, and once they recognize meal worms as a delightful treat, they'll get brave enough to take them from your fingers.

How old do they need to be for Grit? I've seen that alot but not sure when to introduce all these other things.
