7 month old. Eats, drinks, seems to feel alright. Normal diet, crumbles, scratch, cabbage, carrots, mealworms occasionally. 5 days ago she started the Tan Diarrhea. She is wormed. She has 57 friends, she is the only presenting with these symptoms. It's caked on her feathers under her vent. She spends a lot of time shaking her head as if something is crawling in her head or ears. Then today I came out to feed and her feet are bleeding. The bleeding could be a coincidence. I just found it strange. Any ideas? (Don't mind the gravel in the poo pile).

Thanks in advance.

Hi there. Sorry about your bird. The feet could be from broken pin feathers. Can you wash them up so the other birds aren’t tempted to peck at them?
The poop does not look right to me. Have you added any new birds to your flock recently?
Also, can you check her over closely for lice and/or mites?

I'm struggling to make out her toes. They are there aren't they?? It looks like she has scaly leg mites and it may be that the irritation has caused her to break the skin with her beak, preening at them or it may be that blood feathers have been pecked and broken or she may have been caught in some wire and injured them.
She will need a good soak and clean up in a warm Epsom Salts bath both for her feet and vent area and a good blow dry afterwards. Legs need to be slathered in grease to smother the mites once they are clean and dry and will need repeating in a few days. She will probably need to be placed in a cage in the coop so that the other birds cannot go after those feet as they will be vulnerable to further pecking.
It would be helpful to see a photo of the whole chicken to get an idea of her posture and demeanour and see if there is any other obvious clues. The poop is definitely not healthy looking and a faecal float by a vet or lab might be helpful. It should not be overly expensive.... here in the UK it is just over £10. Your state lab will probably be cheaper than a local vet if you can find one to do it so it is best to shop around and ask about price before you engage the service. Cupping your hand between her legs and feeling for any bloat or swelling there and below her vent may give us more to work on. Comparing her belly by feeling other healthy chickens (roosting time is easiest) will give you an idea of whether hers is normal or not.

Hi. I washed her feet. Seem to be better today.
Most recent added to flock was 4 months ago.
If I suspect lice/mites. What should I use? I have used Ivermectin for the working in the past.

Can you post some more photos of the feet since you cleaned them up?
Photos of the whole chicken so we can see what she looks like would be nice too:)

Have you ever wormed your flock? I agree, that poop does not look normal unless diet is a contributing factor - what do you feed?
If you can take some samples for testing that would be a good idea.

For her feet, I would continue to keep watch on those, wash them as needed and observe her to see if she is picking at them.
She may have scaly leg mites, it's very hard to tell in the photos or the blood could be from a broken blood feather.
Apply some triple antibiotic ointment to the legs and work it in really well after soaking/washing and drying the feet. Keep her on clean dry bedding for several days to let her heal and so you can watch her food/water intake and see more of her poop.

Ivermectin Pour On can be used to treat lice/mites and Scaly leg mites - dosage is 0.09ml per pound of weight applied to the base of the neck along the spine, make sure it comes into contact with the skin. Repeat in 10days.
Ivermectin Pour On is not a substitute for giving supportive care and not tending to the legs, you will still want to soak/wash the legs/feet and apply your ointment daily.
