Hi all! Our chicken is a home pet.
She got tape worms from eating a bug..
Took het to the vet and started a treatment.now she poops whole tape worms...and sagments.
One vet said this is not contagious to us.
The other one said to be careful and wash handsc ect.
I rad here too that its not and that it is possible to get this worms on us.
Confused because she live insude the house like our dog.
    Anyone have advice?:(

I'd imagine that once out of a hosts' body for a while they will be dead. I reckon the second vet was just exercising caution for you safety.
