If I remember correctly, the product was Eqiumax Elation. When I did the math back then it worked out to be 0.1 ml per pound of body weight.

@dawg53 also has some good tips on withholding feed prior to treatment.

As I said in the other thread, the dose for that one is 0.09 ml per pound and one with Pyrantel is 0.1 ml per pound.

I fear that they might have been underdosed several times now, first with the avitrol, then with the paste. I am wondering if giving them a double dose would be better.

So let’s say for my Isa brown who’s 2kg, how much do I give her for Equimax?
For Avitrol I dosed with what was written on the box so that should have been the right amount?!

Your avitrol are 4 mg per pill, so a 2 Kg hen would get no less than 5 pills, and I think I remember you saying you gave 3. A larger bird, like a heavier RIR would get 7.5 pills.

With the AU paste you have, give no less than 0.4 ml to the 2 kg hen. If she were mine i might think about giving twice that amount.

Thank you so much ! I’m terrible at maths as you probably guessed ahah. I’ve got 1 Isa Brown, 2 australorp, 3 silkie hens, 1 silkie rooster and 1 bantam so lots of different weight.
Should I give them another dose tomorrow or wait a bit longer?
