Tarantula keepers?

I do! Actually, mine have all passed away, but I had one native who had been paralyzed by a tarantula hawk and we nursed him to health, one curly hair female, and one wild-caught female!

I'm just curious now! Are Turantulas fun pets?

I enjoyed mine, they are so low maintenance! For my curly, I just threw a few crickets in every other week or so, and keep water in there!

Since I started keeping them I get anxiety as soon as I see them in films or videos since I worry about them being safe. They are super fragile!

Interesting! Yes they do look fragile, Kevin picked it up very carefully in the movie.

Picked up a wee GBB-sling on Sunday. Happy I didn't rehouse straight away since they decided to molt today. What a beauty!

Awesome! A GBB will probably be our next species as well. We've tried twice now to acquire one, but both times the plans fell through.

They are gorgeous! I almost prefer the sling colours though.

I had a little one last year that made it to about five cm and then passed away with a bad molt. I hope this one makes it! I seem to have bad luck with the dry species sometimes.

And my I. mira made a rare appearance above ground! I don't know what she is doing outside of her trap door but she seems OK- and is sooo pretty!

I had my AF C. lividus delivered this Saturday and I can't believe they kept a fossorial like this.
