Tasks Completed Today - Updating Hourly

I need a quiet place to think. My house is certainly not a quiet place today.

I have a ton to do today and not enough hours to do it!

So far I can mark these off my list for the day-

10 loads of laundry - done
3 beds freshly dressed for company - done

1 broccoli casserole for a potluck - done
1 apple salad for a potluck - done
1 challah bread pudding for a potluck - done
2 pumpkin pies for a potluck - done

10 loaves banna nut bread for gifts - done
2 batches of brownies for gifts - done
3 doz chocolate chip cookies for gifts - done

18 - caramel/choclate/nutted/sprinkled William Sonoma style apples in progress

2 loads of dishes put away from the dishwasher

My busy day was Sunday when I decided to do my sewing gifts and my baking for dinner that night all that morning

Today I'm trying to get my house put back together before the kids leave for their Dad's.... laundry, dishes, etc.

Plus I need to do chicken chores.

miss prissy, you don't need a quiet place to THINK, you need a quiet place to SLEEP! how many ovens to you have, anyway??? and how many washing machines????

man. i fell lazy now.

so far... i have fed animals and children and made coffee. oh! and consumed my first mug of coffee.

and now, here i sit on byc. woo hoo!

there is snickerdoodle-baking in my near future, though. (or maybe i'll just sneak over to miss prissy's house and "borrow" a few xmas snacks... i don't think she'd notice a FEW missing, she's gotta have SO much stuff piling up...

I didn't count in the making of coffee, the feeding of breakfast or the carrying in and loading up both fireplaces twice so far.

I got up at 4am.

I spent an hour with Anne in our daughter's outside hot tub, took a shower, and changed clothes. All that has worn me out, and I'm in bad need of the couch!
