Tasks Completed Today - Updating Hourly

hello , today there is no way I could hold a candle to MP ,or any day for that matter .
but here is my day sooooooooooooooo.far.
I got up at 5 am
drank a cup of joe
tended the wood stove fire
went to the barn and did the chores , hay , ect.
drove to town to visit a friend ( 35 miles one way )
went to the bank
went to do some last minute shopping, groceries and stuff
stopped at the feed store and bought a sack o feed
filled up bug with gas ( VW bug that is )
came home and unloaded goceries and stuff
talked to DH for 1/2 hour
went to work
I was an hour late !!! yikes.
I am at work now .
getting ready to sweep the snow off of the path way to the Library , that will takes about 40 minutes , it is a long path way
( thank god i don't have to shovel today!!!!)
have another cup of joe , and some lunch or a cup of tea and some cookies.

Miss Prissy , you have a very LUCKY family.
I hope to met you sometime, we are moving to virginia this spring, Reedville , va. in the northern neck.
have a very nice holiday !!!

Just trying to get my work done. I love having "two days off". That means I have to do 5 days work in 3! My busy days were Sat. and Sun., I am still trying to catch up from hosting the big family gathering on Sun. Tomorrow night is daugher and her family, much more relaxing. I am more and more taking the "Sandra Lee" semi-hommade approach to Christmas. There is not sense in being so tired that I am to sick to enjoy the events. And after years of worrrying about not everything being homemade, I have discovered that they just don't care! They are happy just be be together and have enough of anything to eat. You're special Miss Prissy, I wish I were your neighbor!.

1. Cleaning out the bed of the truck DONE

2. Cleaning out the truck

3. Chicken chores [feeders, waterer de-icing, egg collecting] DONE

4. Finish the back wall of the duck house

5. Cut the wood to make the new nest boxes

6. Put all the pieces together

7. Clean the office

8. Clean my room

9. Try to figure out what to do about the floor upstairs in the hallway where two boards are missing and there 2 lines of copper piping just below the floor. Oh boy!

10. Make Eggs For Sale sign to go at the end of the driveway DONE

11. Make posters for eggs and horse boarding

12. Make gingerbread cookies for dads arrival tomorrow
