I have a small daisy-like flower on my left shoulder and some flowers that look like they are growing out of my butt on my lower back.

I have a vine of flowers that goes from my left shoulder down my back. It's still a work in progress, but when I'm done I'll have a flower to represent every woman in my family.

I have two. One on my palm, the other on the back of my neck. Most (usually all) people don't know I have them. They are spiritual or symbolic in some way. One is the my astroligical sign (Aquarius waves), the other is the Hamsa. Both my parents have tattoos. My mom goes religous, my dad--honestly, I don't know what he's thinking with his. I would love to get more like the Cross, Celtic Woad patterns, Om, and moon w/stars. I like symbols I guess. For me, it's not about looking cool, or showing off, but about my beliefs, protection. I do think tattoos are great identifiers if you are missing, in an accident and have lost ID, stuff like that.

i have black outlines of golden rectangles (a math thing, relates to fibonacci's sequence, used to draw a perfect spiral) on my wrists, the uncertainty principle

on my forearm, and the words "if i had a hammer" across my belly (i'm a metalsmith)

i'm a geek. i want more, but, i'm poor and they're a luxury hehe.

I just got my seventh tattoo Saturday....

Most of mine have a native american feel.
I have a large double headed prey bird on my right ankle (didn't hurt too bad)
a symbol of the sun on my right wrist (didn't hurt too bad)
a design that I saw on some pottery on my left shoulder (hardly felt it)
a bear paw on my left breast (hardly felt it)

3 wks ago, I went to a Korn concert and got the singers autograph, so that is now a tattoo on my left wrist (above my watch) (hardly felt it)
The key, off the SYOTOS my favorite cd from Korn, on the back of my neck (didn't hurt too bad)

Last saturday I got a tribal design on my lower back (hurt like heck on my left side mostly)

It was funny when you hit certain spots on the spine, you'll feel it elsewhere on your body. One spot felt like a hot string being tugged from my lower back, through the top of my shoulder. Another area made my upper thigh spasm!

I have two! Got my first tattoo when I was 40 years old--gift from my husband. He is covered in tattoos, and I was like, "Well, why not?" So that one is a Kokopeli just above my ankle. The other one is one that my husband and I both have--his version is larger than mine. We designed it ourselves.....Has both of our zodiac signs inside a ying/yang that is inside a burning sun. It's our special tattoo.......

We also want more. I just love them. Most people also don't know I have one, and they're shocked when they find out! Makes me laugh!
