Taxing farm animals in MA?

Good thing our city doesn't allow fam animals because if it did we would be taxed on the taxes!

That sounds like something Mass. would do and I believe the fed. government is not far behind.

Reminds me of an old law, that last I checked, was still on the books in NY. In NY it is illegal to paint your cows green. That's because when the tax assessor would come around if they cows were green and way back in the pasture, he couldn't really see them. If you can't see 'em you can't get taxed on them. I can see a whole flock of green chickens now, lol.

No Farms No Food
is the bumper sticker my SUV wears. We give them out at all our poultry functions free, that is what the statement means to us (we send a donation so to get people thinking!) . I have no idea how the times have changed self employed, but as a kid I recall my dad needing to list what tools he had ownership of, including drill bits, as a self employed carpenter to be taxed. So, now "big brother" wants a hand in our pockets to make sure we don't "save" money on helping ourselves (as if we do!!!!).

I heard on the news tonight that the Feds are wanting a National Sales Tax! Good News is, People are finally waking up, getting envolved and saying Enough!

No matter what everyone NEEDS to vote in the upcoming election.
It's time to take out the people in office that do not represent the majority of their district but only their own agenda.
Only YOU can change the future of America. This small stuff is only the beginning.

Are you serious?!?
That is crazy! No way!
