So I guess my little joke to the hubby the other day about paying cash for my chicks so they can't track me down as a chicken nut was not so far off. Maybe these new portable coops he is building should go to some small clearnings in our woods that we have.
Its really pathetic because the way things are moving now people may depend on those who can produce food locally. My mother lived in austria during the war there. The way the smart survived was by trading with the farmers and becoming mini farmers themselves. Some would work the farmers land for the right to farm a small portion themselves or for the right to a portion of the harvest to keep from starving. The way the government is being driving into the ground " we the people" might be left holding a huge mess which they will have legislated we are not allowed to fix. Morons I swear.
