I have a two week old duck, it likes to sit next to or on me and kinda nibbles. It's cute and I'm guessing a normal bonding/grooming behaviour..... But it's starting to hurt.
It's not out of anger or because it's hungry or thirsty (that's more of a bite and twist) but a fast nibble.
Is there a way to train it not to do this? Or will it grow out of it as it gets older?

You'll never get it to stop, in my experience, but as it gets older, it won't hurt. Remember that like most babies, ducklings explore things with their mouths, so you really just have to wait for them to get a bit older. My 15-month old duck likes to lightly nibble on me but it just tickles. When she was a ducking, it pinched like hell. Be patient and it'll get better.

You can also try cupping your hand and putting it over its head when it bites you. That sometimes works.

Duckling nibble and try things with their mouths. I had one that was like that and she grew out of it. However when she does get really mad or frustrated she will bite, but I know when that is coming. Usually when it is when I have do doctor her up for one reason or another.
