I have four cayugas in my flock right now. Three juveniles and one adult hen.

But I have 4 Blue Juvies & 8 Black Juvies all hatched from 4 different Breeders. So I am really excited about my flock ! Yes I will have hatching eggs for you

SO CUTE! I can't wait to move on to a farm so I can get some ducks For now my back yard chickens will have to do.

Awe you can still have a cayuga in with your chickens! (they are on the quieter side too!)

They are beautiful I love how different the colors can be depending on the way the light is hitting them.

I think thats what sold me on them. I went t o a poultry show at the fairgrounds, and I saw all the ducks ~ THEN I saw a pair of black cayugas & I was like HOLY CARP those are

That was it for me, and I was sold to team Cayuga !

i have 2 black cayuga and i am hoping to find some blue...i see splashes in there :-D

I have never had the blues before & have 4 that I cannot wait to see feather out, splashes huh?

i think i have a pair but im not sure ones color is way more "brilliant" as i call their coloring (shinny) than the other and when the sun hits them just right they turn purple.

How old are they? Any pics?

Definitely up for an egg swap. I'm still working on establishing a decent breeding flock.

I'm still trying to convince hubby to join team cayuga. Told him I wanted to sell our swedish trio to make more room for cayugas. He'd rather keep the swedes. Grr.
