The outside spigot is frozen. The pool is frozen because someone that is not me didn’t dump it the other night. There’s more snow on the ground, covering a sheet of ice, which is covering more snow. And yet, it’s March. The battle for spring shall begin soon, even if we don’t see the ground until next month. Down south, the robins and geese are at least planning their migration north. The ducks are growing impatient.
