Dear all,
I hope you guys are able to educate me on the following matter.
I have a beautiful white call duck which I wish to breed with.
She has only one oddity. One of here eyes is teardrop shaped. In Dutch we call it a “druppeloog”.
it means the Iris is deformed in the shape of a raindrop/teardrop...
I assume this is because of inbreed or is it a form of normal variation.
How does it go genetically? Does anyone know how it passed from the adult to the offspring? Recessive or dominant?
I hope you understand my question. If you have any more questions feel free to ask!
