I've gotten tired of Reddit though. The subs that show up the most in the feed were interesting until they started having the same clip posted every month or so.

Correct. I have gone through and gotten rid of quite a few subs from it since I got tired of them.

In all seriousness, I've never really had that problem. I avoid the larger subs that are more spammy/trolly and don't engage with stupid people. I do keep a couple of throwaways handy but I've rarely ever used them.

I get more of the r/iamverysmart type of trolls on my posts regardless of sub. Heaven forbid you have an interest in anything technical or use vocabulary above a 5th grade level.

I desktop and use RES. Much better experience. I refuse to use the mobile app since reddit decided to charge 3rd party app users for API access and killed off the competition for their own app (which is garbage)

I still can’t figure out what I am supposed to with „gold”. They seemed vague about it. Apparently I can redeem it for real life money… but only if I get a lot. I think I have a hundred or so.

You forgot you have to talk like a 5th grader who thinks saying a swear word every other word is cool.

I use a patched Sync for Reddit on my phone. I prefer it over the desktop web reddit.

Y'all seem to hang out in trashy trailer park subs. Even the AZ and phx subs aren't that bad, but they have an active mod crew who help keep the riff raff out

Generally speaking I don't hang out in those, it's usually that sometimes there are posts like that every once in a while.
