It's very slow. The Pentium 4 beats this. This has a single core with a single thread. The Pentium 4 has 1 core, 2 threads..

That checks out. Though Celeron 300A CPUs were cheaper and could be overclocked better in 1998.

Pentium 4 kinda busted with its first release but as it grew more things became better optimized.

I still want a Willamette Pentium 4 for my collection.
