Teenage Chicks Accepted by Flock :) Pictures!

Great job! How exciting! I always love seeing little ones roost next to big ones. I used a "chick barrier" method too, only mine were brooded in the coop so they ended up roosting at 4-5 weeks. They're almost a year old now, and even though everyone gets along fine, they still hang out in their original little group sometimes.

They are cute in their groups :) we have the ‘big girls’ and my husband calls the babies ‘wing kingdom’. Haha
 
Nice! We have some 6 week old momma-hen raised chicks that are on the fifth day of full access to the run with the rest of the chickens. They still sleep in the brooder, with momma hen (her choice), but we'll be kicking them out of the brooder and into the coop next week. That's when the the pecking order gets REAL :eek: - It's all about them roosts!
