Teflon Coated Lightbulbs Toxic to Chickens

I just read about this in Back yard Poultry mag.

Yeah the EPA or FDA or one of those such organizations has banned the use of Teflon in cookware starting next year. Sometimes the old tried and true methods are better like cast iron.

Heating any sort of Teflon can kill birds. I quit cooking with Teflon years ago because of my little parrots. I never thought about light bulbs, though.
