Ok, #1 BA has a short tail and #2 BA has a long tail but their comb and wattles look pretty and pink ; it's pretty obvious #3 is roo, and one of the RIR has short tail and one has long tail but they both have yellow small comb and no wattles. Now what do you think? The pics are posted under "close-up pics, roo or pullet".
Would like to figure this out so I can sell roos and buy more pullets if that's the case.

I don't see any pictures

How old are they?

Go 13 posts down please and look at pics under " close-up pics, roo or pullet?". Thanks. Today 1,2,3 were standing up on there toes challenging each other with their neck feathers flared out. Looked awfully rooish to me.

Our BA male had a short tail for a long time after his girls had long tails. I am not saying this is a 100% accurate way of determining the sex, but this is the way it was with ours. If you could post pictures of them, that might help.

Ok, here's pic finally. I thought this might be a pullet cause of tail but head looks like cockerel. Today it kept attacking the 4 new pullets. The other 2 cockerels with short tails did too before I gave them away. What ya think he/she?

I see what you mean. It looks like it has a fairly large comb for its age, but the long tail like our females had. This may be one of those where you have to wait until it crows or lays an egg. Do you have a close up of its head?

Is it normal for a pullet to attack new pullets? I mean its very aggressive and won't stop. I had to seperate it from the others. Here's a head shot pic.

7 wks old. I put it back in with the others today and its driving the 4 new pullets crazy chasing them around and pecking them. Should I get rid of it or is this normal?
