Tell me something GOOD that happened to you today.

Me and my mom got to eat a sit down lunch together for the first time in three weeks! And neither one of us had to cook!

Had a wonderful bonfire last night. The weather was nice, the brush pile needed reduction, so DH started calling friends. "Come over, bring salad or dessert". Well, everyone brought both. Steaks on the grill from the new beef in the freezers, 10 lbs. potatoes in the coals in foil. Chairs, blankets, lots of good talk and good food. Nice.

eta: and I woke up this morning to a CLEAN kitchen, because the guys did all the cleanup afterwards.

Had a wonderful day at a place called Longwood Gardens today with a friend who I hadn't really seen in awhile. We then ate dinner and pretty much laughed all day. It was very nice!

I'm finally getting a handle on making real fudge....Do you have any idea how much fudge I've had to eat, in the last two months?

My family and I had a wonderful dinner today... Not because of the food, per se, but visiting and talking and stuff. It all ended with an awesome laughing fit, with tears streaming down my face.

Had a nice visit with my nephew and his family....He has 5 boys ranging from 8 yrs. old down to 2 months. I enjoyed having them over, we had dinner, the kids played, they feed the chickens, collected eggs and dodged my little Roo. lol My living room looked like a tornado hit it while they were here but let me tell you.......they picked everything up and put it back in it's place before they left and there was not one peep out the boys about doing it.

I sold 9 BLRWs today! 8 hens and 1 rooster. I had 81 chickens and now I'm down to 72. Wow I still need a few more gone! They eat a lot of food!
