We decorated the house for Christmas and it looks lovely.

Plus, it's been a year to the day since my first surgery, and I'm feelin' fine.

My dog a GS, wakes me up most mornings, by giving me a kiss, then hoping in bed.. He doesn't lick my face, just noses me! I know it's odd, but I love it.. I love waking up from his kiss, Like he's saying morning mom, now push over so we can cuddle!

Made another apple pie today, this one for the severe weather shelter. The sun is shining. It's warm in the house (the pricey new furnace and pump doing their job!) Going out to watch our little town's holiday parade tonight

Darcy is here today. 21 eggs from 29 hens. DW is making dinner. Oh and I think I ticked off someone on another post.

It's hard not to when your always right.

My landlady/friend gave me some Starbuck's Christmas blend whole-bean coffee.

I went to the pawnshop, today, and picked up a bunch of movies, for less than $1 apiece.

I got to spend the whole day goofing off with my Hubby!

I got a new puppy today!!!!

I guess I should say 'we' got a puppy, LOL - my DH is 100% in with her, too, LOL.

She's a gorgeous GSD mix, only 5 wks old - from a rescue league, mother rejected the puppies. We have a 6-yo GSD mix that mothers everything, so we're hoping for the best. So far, so good!

She had a big day today, being taken from where she was raised since pulled from a high-kill shelter at 3 days old, and all her brothers & sisters. We also had our daughter, son-in-law, grandson, and son-in-law's brother here this afternoon, so I didn't chase her around with the camera. But there WILL be pictures!

She's snoozing in a box I put in the living room to give her a get-away cave from the other pets. So far, they're being pretty respectful.
