My best friend from when we were kids growing up just showed up at my door unannounced. He lives up by Albany and had just taken his wife into NYC and decided to 'check out' the old neighborhood. I love that comfortable feeling of seeing old friends where you just take up as if there had been no time apart.

School had a half day today!!! It was kinda nice to have a break from the kindergarteners! (not that I don't love them and all...)

After 2 interviews and, 6 weeks of waiting and resumes and references etc. and seeing a list of potential candidates, and seeing my name last on the list, I was finally offered the job! and with a better starting wage than I expected

I go to HR get my paper work taken care of, and Monday orintation!! Goodbye unemployment, we only have 9 more weeks to be together, but Im taking you to the curb!.....lol

Dont I know it! I was prepared to be humble enough to accept minimum wage and to be grateful for it. 9 weeks of unemplyment left after over a year of Looking. woohoo!
