peewee liked my duck picture!

I really needed something like that... I found out this morning one of my chickens died from the heat. I don't need to explain how she was a pet and I raised her from a day old and all that other nonsense, because BYC people get it.

Today was a good day.

Took the kids to the library and lost 'em! When I found them they were both curled up in a reading area, noses tucked into books!

Then took them grocery shopping. We had to use the ladies room and they decided to do an impromptu (loud ) concert of party on the rooftop top of the world which prompted applause from the very nice lady who was waiting to use the rest room...

Ran out of gas as I slid into the gas station!

Spent ten minutes with hubby trying to mix plain and sweet got feed in a barrel with the goats trying to help!

Mama goat got her head stuck in the barrel. DH and I ended up laughing till tears came. What could have been a major hassle was instead funny and cute.

Love that man 'o mine.

Yup. Was a good day.

I am still pregnant with no problems. Booyah! Love my boring as all get out pregnancies, too bad this is the last.

Well, I'm not exactly sure of what this means, but...
My mom was picking something up today from a friends when she spotted a crippled old lady struggling with her walker on the edge of the road. My mom pulled over and offered her help, and managed to help her with her walker. The old lady handed my mom a small piece of paper and told her "Good things always come to good people." The old lady hobbled away, saying nothing more. My mom came home and showed us the piece of paper the old lady had given her. It was a lottery ticket for the $180 million lottery. We silently studied the numbers, then my mom tucked the slip away. We will have to wait and see whether it truly is a magic ticket. Am I the only one who finds this a bit eerie, but in a good way?

dropped my DD off at volleyball camp and as they were getting hustled away for their first practice she broke from her friends and ran back and gave me a hug and said thank you! I love you mom!

A friend of my mom's came over today and wanted to see my chickens! She was really interested in them, so I got to talk about my chickies for a long time!

And I got to hold ducklings today!

And we had grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner
