I ordered the muscovy I wanted 6 ducklings are coming in on the 18th, great price too as they were only 3.89 each! I can't wait although they are illegal

I got Quicken 2010 (too much money)... BUT, I've got my finances back up to date. YEAH.

My day was all good.

I woke up.
Jake said woof (good morning in dog speak).
Shower felt great.
Went to a job that pays my bills and I enjoy doing for the most part.
Talked to Mom.
Talked to a few friends.
My friend had good news about his wife who has had health issues.
My second shower felt even better.
Met a few friends for coffee and had some great conversation.
Made some tea.
Cooked bacon and fresh eggs for supper.
Jake ate all his food.
Said goodnight to my chickens and was grateful to have them.
Made more tea.
Typed this post on Debi's thread.
Thanked God for all the blessings in my life.

Sometimes the simple things are pretty GOOD.

Oh your poor trees! I will try to get some this week when more flowers are opening. They are such pretty white stars. I am so excited for apples, I really wasn't expecting them to produce for a while

My poor trees are a great source of entertainment. Have you ever seen an 800 lbs animal try to get low enough for a peach tree to scratch them??

Got the disability paperwork today, so I can start parking in blue spaces. My son drew a picture that says I love mommy, but my legs were twisted and shattered in it. He wanted me to know he still loves me.

I'll share 10 good things that happened today

Woke up with the roof still over our heads
Hubby had a job to go to, and was able to send his guys out on their jobs as well
got ducklings today
got to meet up briefly with another byc'er
was able to talk to my grandmother via phone today
car started and we were able to make it to and from our errands
no whining from the kids today
I was able to seed a bunch of my root vegetables today (carrots, beets, etc)
all my kids, extended family and such are healthy and taken care of
got a package of plants in the mail today
