I went to buy groceries and found out
a) a lot of my pantry staples (pasta, chicken) were on sale
b) I had more money for groceries than I thought

Finally got the garage door hung. Hubby was feeling better so we finished it today

Gave my 4 1/2 week old chicks a new toy from Petco. It is a Parrot Rubber Ball with a bell and hexagonal holes all over. So I stuffed it full of grass and they pecked, played, and rang the bell until all the grass was gone. I put the chicks outside in the pen and started building their coop. Good day all around.

It's raining....nice downpour type rain and even soft drizzly type rain. I have a tin roof. I have a wood stove. I don't have to go to work or anywhere else.

Bliss...pure bliss!
