Got finished with my runs and coops (well, enough for now) before too much snow had fallen, and have 3 chicks with at least 2 more pipping! Off to set up the brooder. Some how fluffy baby chicks makes even a gray, cold day like today seem brighter

There is a post in family about this but Ken's nephew was in a horrible motorcycle hit and run accident on 9/25. He is now talking, having conversations. We couldn't be more thrilled!!! He wasn't expected to live.

I had to go shopping for jeans. I went to our "little box" store and decided I'd rather weave my own out of yucca fibers then spend one cent in that place. I dropped by the Drug Store and happen to find two pairs that actually fit and are made of quality fabric and thread. What's more is that I got both pairs for $24! This is GOOD, because the next place to buy jeans is 112 miles away. It's the little things that make my days.
