I really wish I could manage to keep my butt awake to see the perseids. Middle of the night is too much for me.

I do have a good news report though: My son had MAJOR allergic reaction to something that left his 6'1, 130 lbs frame looking like a Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade balloon. He is fine. 4 shots of benedryl and an epi pen injection and he is good. Scary.

I won $250 in SuperCertificates at work and cashed them in at Sears ($200) and drugstore.com ($50).

We managed to finally finish the roofing of our combination rabbit (Bunhalla) and duck (Duckgard) enclosure. Two things left to go - build the front gate and fix the fencing (having a sagging issue).

A contractor came and took the damaged insulation that had been piled up on my back patio all summer. Yay.

debiraymond I am glad your son is ok. I have a son that tall but weighs 170.



My good thing for the day>>>>> I had a good meal from my chickens and garden today. I lightly cooked swiss chard from the garden and added onions from the garden and then eggs from my chickens and a bit of cheese(store bought) and made an omelet and it was delicious.

I commute 3 days a week by bicycle.

I woke up this morning & my paycheck had been direct deposited into the bank.
