Today I got a surprise gift from someone I barely know!

All of my four hens laid today.

My shed/art studio was finally re-insulated today following a de-insulation and treatments of black mold....AND...drum roll...the original contractor is paying for it.

My uncle bought roof panels for my new coop (saves me money for chicken feed!) and it's almost finished!

GREAT NEWS!!!

I found out that starting this fall my school will start giving refunds (from loans and pell grants) starting on Sept 15th. They used to wait until the first week of December. I am getting a student loan to help pay off some credit card debt and was worried about the next few months. Now financially we just have to make it through this month and we will then have a HUGE burden lifted!!
