Tell me something GOOD that happened to you today.

Gave blood for the local American Red Cross blood drive today. DH and I decided to sponsor a 'senior' in our area. She wants a couple of sweat suits and holiday dinner. We'll give her the option of coming to our holiday dinner (with DH's parents, 2 DSD's, 1 DSIL & D-BF, 1 DGS) or bringing her all the fixings for hers. We don't have much to spare this year, but as long as we're able to keep our bills paid and have food on the table, we're luckier than many in our area.

got the day off since x-mas is on the weekend, got to take the boys to school and picked them up, not much to sum but for me it means alot since i'm working all the time and don't get to be part of this routine...

I took the WHOLE day off from work! Relaxed, watched TV, watched the chickens a while, surfed around on the internet, and just had a generally relaxing and refreshing day.

Now going to top off my evening with a glass of viognier and some jazzy Christmas tunes and some quality time with my handsome hubby!

Does anyone else have a hard time finding a GOOD thing that happened? Today is my first time. I had a horrible day. I work by butt off, and get chastised at every chance. I needed to leave early for Ken's best friends college graduation, but I could not because my other habitual time taker had to leave AGAIN for a plumbing emergency. I get tired of being the responsible one and still getting crap from the boss.

Ok Ken loves me and I love him. My life REALLY is good. Just had a bad day. REALLY bad day.

I spent the afternoon with walking around town with my friend and my dog, and then I went to gun club and got a pretty decent score. I listened to a bunch of my favorite songs and pretty much had a good day in general.

We got 3 inches of beautiful snow this morning!

My kids were moping because we didn't think we would have a white Christmas. I cannot wait to see their faces when they get up this morning! I predict a day of sledding!!!

Thank you for that. I woke up not wanting to go to work and I now have a kitten trying to steal my nail file.
