Thank you!!! And now it has been two in a row. We went to Big Bear Lake today because it is considerably cooler there and it was 95 here today. Great day on the lake, visits with dogs at the dog park, tested out the new outboard. Had a great time. Now fried in spite of SPF 50.
 
He masqueraded as a hen for the longest time then a couple weeks ago I caught him crowing. He did such a good job that he even sat on eggs making us think that he had been laying them. I thought something was funny when he started growing spurs, but I had read on here that it is not rare but not common either for a hen to grow spurs. Oh how foolish could I be.
